About me
At Winona State University (Winona, Minnesota), I am an Engagement & Liaison Librarian. I liaise to History, Philosophy, Ethnic Studies, Women Gender & Sexuality Studies, Special Education, Education Studies, and Marketing. As the Engagement Librarian, I develop educational programming around topics like information literacy and information cycles, artificial intelligence (Al), and the scholarly communications cycle (e.g. open educational resources (OERs), publishing, and copyright). I also now coordinate outreach and library visibility initiatives.
Prior to becoming a librarian, I trained as a Roman archaeologist with a focus in the late Roman Empire-Late Antiquity, iconographic analysis, and spatial cultural memory. My professional interests include information and visual research instruction, qualitative research support, and library reception studies.
